No excuses

Can we talk?

10.01.2017

I hope everyone enjoyed a great weekend – I sure did. I found myself at the Erie Zoo and had an excellent time visiting with the animals. Sometimes I think they believe we’re the animals and they are the sane ones . . . but that’s a discussion for another time.

So new month. New week. No more excuses. Rise above your issues. If you cannot see a way, make a way. Stop talking about doing something. Just do it. Don’t let whatever the issue is stop you from being the person you were meant to be. Don’t wait for someone else. It’s up to you. I know it sounds corny but, like this giraffe, rise above it. Talk positive to yourself. Be nice to yourself. Go after what you want. Step on toes if you have to but just do it!

Stop with the excuses. Hold your head up and get it done.

Humpback whale breaching

Water over the rocks

04.13.2017

Here are a couple more photos that I took while on vacation. I don’t have a lot of time to write this evening. Why is it that the work day goes slow but my evenings go by so quickly?

The photo above is of the same whale breaching. It certainly was a fun creature to photograph.

The other photo is of the shoreline near the resort where we stayed. It was very rocky and when the water flowed over the rocks it made little waterfalls. And y’all know how I love to photograph waterfalls!

I’ll post more photos as I get them processed. I hoping to have more time this weekend.

I will leave you with one thought – do a random act of kindness this weekend. Believe me, it will make a difference in that person’s life!

Keep shooting

Bald eagle

02.18.2017

Looking majestic as ever, this bald eagle posed for me. I had several attempts at good shots with the eagle in flight¬†but it just wasn’t happening for me today, for whatever reason. I may try again tomorrow but we’ll see.

Life is like that some times. You try hard,, do your best,¬†take the shot but it doesn’t work they way you thought. It’s okay. I’ll keep trying.
