Life sure gets busy. And stressful. Tis the season I suppose. I took some time for myself this morning, well me and my camera, and headed out to McConnells Mill State Park. I love nature. You can breathe deep and rest your soul. It was just what I needed.
The above was near where I parked at Alpha Pass. I hiked down the path and cut across to the waterfall. I traversed the rocks further down to capture this photo. The leaves are blanketing the ground, which adds some color to the photo.
I’ll post more from this morning’s hike later in the week. Make it a good one people and remember to breathe deeply every so often.
So I got to photograph with other photogs in Pittsburgh, PA. It was totally out of my comfort zone, as I’m more comfortable in nature but it was fun to try something different. I enjoyed talking with other photographers and learning from their techniques. This is a photo I was pleased with from the workshop. A bus turned through the intersection causing the light trails. I thought that was really cool!
It was a good experience and fun to do a shoot with other photographers. But don’t worry, I’ll post nature photos again soon! Let it be a lesson though – it’s good to try new / different things!
Just a quick note to wish all of you a very Happy New Year for 2016! Did you have a good 2015? If not, what are you going to change to make 2016 better? Whatever you are facing for the new year, keep a good attitude and go after what you want.
2015 was an incredible year for me. I had tons of fun, learned a lot about photography and about myself. I totally love life and appreciate each day. I surround myself with good, positive people. I keep my goals in front of me.
I’m looking forward to what 2016 will bring. My birthday is coming up fast. I’ll write more about what this year has meant to me, my 43rd year of life. I still miss my brother and have though of him just about every single day this year. I hope I did him proud.
