Lamb checking us out

07.13.2017

Last week on vacation we took an afternoon and just drove around Wyoming & a little into Montana. We drove past this one spot and just happen to spot a ewe. We thought she was going to come right up to the truck while I photographed her from the truck window. Then all of a sudden her lamb comes up the hill beside her. So very cute! Love that heart shaped nose! Soon they scurried across the road behind us. This is one of my favorite shots!

Keep your eyes open – always look around for the best things in nature.

A surprise at Mammoth Hot Springs – Yellowstone

Young bull elk

07.12.2017

I very much enjoyed my visit at Yellowstone National Park. It’s a place everyone should have on their bucket list. I captured this young bull elk at Mammoth Hot Springs. He was just laying there, looking at all of us, and occasionally scratching an itch. lol

I’m working through all the photos. I took quite a few! It was certainly a great adventure spending the day at Yellowstone. Make plans to visit soon!

Prairie dogs

07.06.2017

While visiting Devil’s Tower I got to photograph these prairie dogs playing, perhaps kissing. It was fun to watch and photograph.

I have a ton of photos to share of Devil’s Tower and then waterfalls in Spearfish, SD. But I’m rather tired. I will leave you with this one thought: live every day as if it were an adventure. Life is exciting and each day should be lived to the fullest.

Scenes from Wyoming

Awesome beauty to behind in the West. This country is so beautiful one must get out to explore and take in all that the world has to offer.

I remember about 17 years ago I was lamenting about my job and where I wanted to go. My friend said to me, “Where in the world do you want to go?” My response was to ask don’t you mean where in the state or nation? He said he was very clear when he said the world. I soon found myself going to South Korea for my job. I then realized that there was so much more to explore than just my own back yard.

Don’t limit yourself. Don’t think of only what you know. Educate yourself, travel, explore. Get lost and open yourself to new adventures.
